Is There a Timbren Axle Less Kit Setup that Fits Jeep Wheel Bolt Pattern 5 on 5 inch
Question:
Im building an off-road trailer that Im going to pull behind my Jeep. Ideally, I would like to just use Jeep Wrangler wheels and tires, but I dont think thats a possibility. So two questions: 1 Would it actually be possible to use Wrangler wheels and tires if I used a non traditional frame design? For example, instead of using a standard rectangle, what if I extended the sides with little wingsinch to give the Timbren some extra room or something? I dont care how difficult the fabrication is... just not sure what would be required, if even possible. 2 Assuming youre going to tell me no, :- what would be the largest size wheel/tire combo that I could put on this hub? And if I were to use a nice aluminum trailer wheel, could I still just use a regular Jeep tire given that the entire weight of the trailer and cargo will be less than 1,000 pounds anyway. Thanks!

We have to tell you that you shouldn't use Jeep wheels on a trailer as they weren't intended for use on a trailer. That said we know people do this all the time so you'd probably be fine. We've seen people use the Timbren Axle Less kits with Jeep Wheels too. Part of why the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System with Hubs # A12WS545 is for "off road" tires is for this purpose so it's physically possible.
The Jeep wheel bolt pattern is 5 on 5 inch like what the part # 84550BX has. For a Timbren kit that fits this with the wider tire offset you'd want the part # ASR2KHDS03 which has a 2,000 lb axle capacity.
