Will the Curt Trailer Hitch C15810 Fit a 2005 Ford F-350 With 18 Inch Spare Wheel/Tire
Question:
I have a 2005 F350 Crew cab. It says will fit 20” spare tires. Are you talking about the entire height of the tire being 20”? Or the rim size of the spare 20”. I have stock 18” rims on my truck with full size spare. Will it fit with this hitch? Also I have 4 flat and 7 round mounted on the current stock receiver. Is there a bracket that will fit the two sockets on this hitch? Thanks

The tech tip that you are referring to on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15810 for your 2005 Ford F-350 is in reference to the diameter of the wheel. Since you have an 18" diameter spare wheel under your truck then you will not have any issues installing this trailer hitch.
In order to mount your 4 and 7-way trailer connector to the above trailer hitch you will need to use the Curt Easy Mount Bracket for Trailer Connectors part # C58003 or the Curt No-Drill Bracket for Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket part # C57202.
