Troubleshooting Weight Distribution System that Still Allows Suspension Sag

Question:

I have the above mentioned weight distribution system installed on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. I set it up and now have the same height to the wheel wells on the front with or without my travel trailer hooked up. However, the rear wheel wells show about 2 inches of sag with the trailer hooked up. Is this a major problem? Do I need air bags to be added to the truck?

One of two things are going on most likely.... You either are trying to tow a trailer that weighs too much for the capacity of your 2017 Toyota Tacoma or you are using a weight distribution system that is not properly rated for your trailer's tongue weight. Keep in mind that your tongue weight figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. Air bags would not be a solution to your problem and would more or less be a band aid.

I looked up the towing capacity of your 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and it's rated for up to 6,400 lbs. So if you can get back to me with the tongue weight of your setup and the WD system you have currently I can see where the problem is.
