Thule Roof Rack Fit for 2019 Subaru Forester with Raised Side Rails

I have a 2019 Subaru Forester and the roof has raised side rails. I am looking for a Thule foot system that will attach to the rails and allow me to use my old style Thule square bars no slots in bottom and square bar attachments. Would the Thule model 450 foot pack work. It appears these have been discontinued by Thule. Are they still available? Thanks

There are Thule roof racks that will fit your 2019 Subaru Forester with raised side rails and work perfectly to mount your accessories, although Thule has changed their crossbars and fit systems, and the model 450 foot pack you referenced has been discontinued.

I highly recommend a new roof rack by Thule and the good news is with a 2019 Subaru Forester with raised side rails you only need two parts to get a complete rack system - the crossbars and foot pack.

There are two options available for you, aero crossbars or square crossbars, with both attaching the same way. The correct fit for your '19 Forester with raised side rails is:

- Aero Bars: Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711220 (Black) OR # TH711200 (Silver) with Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710401

- Square Bars: Thule SquareBar Crossbars # TH712200 with Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710401

I have added a link to installation of both roof racks on a 2019 Subaru Forester with raised side rails, as well as photos showing the difference in how each rack will look when on your car. And for added security to protect your investment, both of these racks can be locked with the addition of Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400.

Both the WingBar and SquareBar racks are functional, durable racks that can be used to carry accessories but I highly recommend the aero bars for one simple reason: noise (or more precisely, the lack thereof).

The Thule WingBar Evo crossbars have a tapered aero shape which naturally diminishes the amount of wind noise and whistling that can come with the use of square bars, but the bars also have rubber strips called WindDiffusers which further minimizes noise so you can reach your destination in peace.
