Any trailer brake controller that offers a custom plug-in wiring harness, like the Prodigy P3 # 90195 that installs in your 2015 Silverado 3500 using custom plug-in harness # 3016, can also be hardwired. Brake controllers use a standard 4-wire hookup, as follows:

BLACK wire connects to 12V power source using a 30-amp circuit breaker
RED wire connects to the COLD side of the brake light switch, which only has power with the pedal pressed.
BLUE wire is the controller output that is routed to the 7-way
WHITE wire is ground and connects either to the chassis or the battery negative terminal

If you need a replacement pigtail use part # 7894 which includes butt connectors. If your under-dash connector is damaged or missing you can use this pigtail to splice into the wires already under your dash. The linked article will assist.
