How to Use Brake Controller Install Harness from 2002 Chevy Silverado on 2004 Chevy Suburban
Question:
I have a primus IQ break controller in my 2002 chevy Silverado 2500 HD. I am selling the truck and want to move the break controller to my 2004 chevy suburban 1500 LT. The wire harness I used on the Silverado fits perfectly fine in my 2004 Suburban and also installs in the same place on the block. This is the wire harness I purchased with the break controller from you guys a while back. Will this harness work for my Suburban? I have it installed but I have 2 dots on the bottom that are solid and two lines on the top blinking. I have the controller mounted flat / parallel from the ground as well. thanks,

You can still use the connector you have but you would need to move the red wire of the connector that plugs in to the vehicle to the opposite corner of the connector. Once you do that the brake controller will work just fine.
I attached a picture that shows how to release the pin from the connector.
