Recommended 7-Way Splitter for Second 7-Way Connection for Truck Camper

Question:

Im interested in towing my trailer with a 7-way connection while my slide in truck camper is in place. The trailer has brakes and running lights. The truck camper is also a 7-way connection. This gives power to the camper running lights and also charges a single 12v battery. My primary need is to be able to send power to the trailer and to the lights of the camper. I would likely not run this split set up with the camper battery hooked up. What are your thoughts on running two accessories off of a single 7-way? Does etrailer offer a 7-way splitter such as this?

We don't have a 7-way splitter like the photo you sent. We instead for applications just like yours recommend using the Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # A10-7007 or the 10 foot long # A10-7010.

This will allow you have the connection at your bumper as well as a connection in the bed of your truck wherever you choose for a simple connection to your in bed camper. There is no problem with charging your battery for either or both of these connectors. This is a much cleaner application and you won't lose the adapter or have awkward wiring at the bumper of your truck. The way this Tees into your wiring, it is almost identical to the y splitter but it is much cleaner behind the 7-way trailer connector.
