Can Tire Chains Be Used On Trailer Tires?  

Question:

just a question as I travel Wyoming and sometimes the Wind and ice are horrendous. would these help only on hard pack snow and ice on a 5x8 Enclosed trailer just for safety??? Also has Electric Brakes. sometimes I have read no chains on a trailer but the wind in Wyoming could blow it off the road.205 75R 15 inch

Some states do require tire chains on trailers especially for braked axles. They're commonly called drag chains in this application.

As long as you have the internal clearance needed for the chains, you can use them on trailer tires. The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern # TC1545 are my recommendation for your 205/75R15 tires. They are high-quality manganese nickel alloy steel and the color-coding makes installation easy. These chains require 15mm of internal clearance between the tire wall and trailer frame. These chains will give you the extra traction you desire for your Wyoming travel. I've attached a video to assist.
