Which Thule K-Summit Snow Chains Fit on a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
Hi I was interested in getting my husband the Thule K-summit snow chains. The ones that go on the hub cap and are easy to put on. I THINK the ones I need are the XXL K77 size but im unsure and dont want to ask him cause I want it to be a surprise. He has a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 tire size 224/75R16.

The correct K-Summit tire chains for the 245/75R16 tire size are part # TH02230K77. The size you listed, 224-75R16 is not a standard tire size. If you can let me know the actual tire size, I will be glad to let you know which K-Summit chains will fit.
You will also need to make sure that the lug nuts on your 2001 Silverado are 17 mm, 19 mm or 21 mm. If you find that the lugs are 22 mm then you will also need the 22 mm lug nut adapter, # TH0223022mm. I did some research and the original lug nuts for a 2001 Silverado are 7/8 inch SAE. If the Silverado has the original lug nuts you would need the lug adapter that is included with the K-Summit chains.
