What Size Thule Snow Tire Chains Do I Need For A 1999 GMC Suburban With 245/75R16 Tires?

Question:

Did have one follow up question, I'm also looking at the Thule XG12 Pro line, would you say they perform better than the XB16 line? My main use of these will be to get up a steep driveway which is often snow on top of a layer of thick ice, looks like the XG12 has the double traction plates which the XB16 doesn't have?

The Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K77 # TH02230K77 are what you want for your 1999 GMC Suburban K1500 with 245/75R16 tires. Konig makes the chains for Thule so their name on Snow Chains are interchangable. this are patented self-centering and self-tensioning chains. These chains are ideal for vehicles with limited clearance and are excellent for traction. They are made of high-quality manganese nickel alloy steel to last a long time.

I do believe the double steel plates positioned along the center of tread you find on the Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - XG12 Pro like # TH01594247, are a great feature but unfortunated they are not available for your size tire.
