Solution to Allow Battery of 2010 Kia Soul to Stay Topped Off When Flat Towed
Question:
I have a 2010 kia soul 5 spd manual that I flat tow. The shop that installed my tow bar only wired to the lights and not to keep batt charged. Should I stop every now and then and let the car run 5 or 10 minutes, disconnect neg batt cable or is there a fuse I should pull. Any advise would be appreciated.

Best option would be to install the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 which will keep the battery of your 2010 Kia Soul topped off when it's being flat towed. Basically it wires from the 12 volt pin of your 7-way to the positive battery post of the towed vehicle battery to keep it topped off.
