Recommendation to Keep Towed Vehicles Battery Topped Off

Question:

We have an 07 Winnie Journey diesel pusher and want to tow an 06 mustang. We are having a driveline disconnect installed locally. For the breaking and lights I am looking at your blue ox brk2016 and the Custer wireless lights LIWSR1-7B. I read in a review someone added a charging wire from the coach to their tow vehicle to keep the battery from running down. The mustang is an auto so the last thing I want is a dead battery - can’t push start it. How can I run a tow vehicle battery charge hookup with the above setup? I suppose I could splice into the round 7 blade connector harness and run a hot wire with a clip to the + post of the battery - but that seems a little hillbilly to me. ?? Thanks,

What a lot of people do to keep the battery topped off is very similar to what you described ha "hillbilly" haha. It works though so in the end that's what really matters. We have a kit part # RM-156-25 which comes with wire, a circuit breaker, and some ring terminals to give you all that'd you need.
