Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness with 7 Pole for a 2004 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2004 Ford F250. The vehicle has the factory installed 7-way and 4-plug trailer connections located on the rear of the vehicle near the receiver. I have a 5th wheel camper and want to install a 7-way plug in on the inside of the box near the 5th wheel plate. Is there a adaptor available or what is the best way to wire that in?

You could use part # C56000 or part # 50-97-410 to install a 7-Way trailer connector in the bed of your 2004 Ford F-250.
I would recommend the part # 50-97-410, as the wiring is longer for installation flexibility. The wiring harness attaches to the 7-way socket at a 90 degree angle, which helps the connector fit into tight spaces.
Installation is simple. Choose your mounting location in the bed, and install the connector. Unplug the existing wiring harness from the rear of the connector on your bumper, and plug this harness inline.
