Wiring Adapter Needed to Install Prodigy P3 from 2014 Toyota Tundra to 2018 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I had the tekonsha p3 brand controllrr on my 2014 Tundra and I want to put it on my 2018 Tundra. I still have the wiring harness removed from my 2014 which has a ground wire that went over by the kick panel but it looks like the 2018 doesn’t. Can I still use my wiring harness from my 2014?

Although the Prodigy P3 # 90195 can be used for your 2018 Toyota Tundra you will need to use the adapter # 3031-P instead of the current adapter # 3040-P that you used for your 2014 Tundra.
Please note that as of right now (February 2019) Tekonsha has not confirmed this adapter to fit. This information actually comes from Curt who has their adapter # C51455 which fits a 2015 - 2018 Tundra. You should have a connector for the adapter but I do recommend checking out the linked photos from the Curt instructions to verify that you have the connector. This seems to be a hit and miss thing with the newer Tundra pickups.
