What Timbren Suspension Kit Fits 1985 Chevy C Series and What Capacity Does It Have
Question:
I have a 1985 Chevy C Series pick up with a modified front and rear suspension. It has a Timbren part that sits between the frame and the suspension, this part resembles your part number TGMRK10. My part has TYPE 550 molded into the top section, and T2-95 molded into the bottom section. I have noticed, there are several load capacities listed, and Im not sure which is the correct one I need. Please provide the correct replacement part number for my part . Thanks

With the Timbren kits you still have to abide by the overall capacity of the vehicle. Basically the Timbrens give you more suspension support to allow you to carry the capacity of the truck in the safest way possible but they do not allow you to increase the capacity of the truck.
Based on your truck's year/make/model and the numbers you found on your spring you do have the part # TGMRK10 which can give the truck up to 3,000 lbs of additional suspension support. If you need to replace either spring you'd have to go with the # TGMRK10 as a whole new kit since the springs by themselves are not available by themselves.
