What is the best trailer hitch for 2019 chevy sonic hatchback? I don't need it for towing or anything i just want to use a bike rack with it.

The best trailer hitch for your 2019 Chevy Sonic hatchback to use with a bike rack is the Curt # C11464 because of its no-drill installation, Curt's strong reputation for making high-quality trailer hitches.

For a bike rack I highly recommend the Swagman Trailhead # S63360 because it is an easy-to-use, economical rack that has a 3 inch rise in its shank for additional ground clearance, which is helpful because the hitch on your '19 Sonic will sit relatively low to the ground. You can see an example of this in the accompanying photo a customer sent in of the Trailhead installed on their vehicle.

The Trailhead has anti-sway cradles to ensure your bikes remain stable on the rack, tilts down for easier access to your rear cargo, and comes with an anti-rattle pin and clip. For additional security I do recommend using the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029 which locks the Trailhead to your hitch and helps protect your investment.

Additionally, please note that when using any hanging rack like the Trailhead you'll need bike frame adapter bar # 64005 if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike. The bar will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack.
