Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2007 Lexus RX 350
Question:
I am having trouble deciding which kit to buy Curt or Tekonsha. They are both reviewed well so that makes them even? But, the Tekonsha has a ground lug and the Curt does not. Does that matter? Which one would you recommend, grounded or not? Thanks.

For your 2007 Lexus RX 350 I definitely recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness # 118478. The Tekonsha harness, like you mentioned, provides a more secure ground connection to the vehicle. Tekonsha is also more well known for making durable and reliable trailer electrical products. I can tell you that we see far fewer troubleshooting questions on Tekonsha harnesses than we do with those from any other manufacturer, including Curt.
This custom harness installs by plugging into factory ports behind the driver and passenger side interior trim panels in the cargo area and then running the hot lead up to the battery. This will provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with and power a trailer's signal lights.
I have attached an installation video and the written instruction manual that you can also use for reference.
