Boat Guide-On Compatibility with 19 inch Distance from Frame to Inside of PVC

Question:

CE27760 Can I install this in my Escort trailer, which has 19 horizontal distance? My Escort trailer has the frames located far inside from the tires, and has no crossbars. The distance between the outside of a frame and the end of boat hull is 19. So, my calculation comes to a minimum of 26inch bottom tube length 2~3inch PVC pipe + 1~2inch clearance + 19inch + 3inch frame + 1~2inch extra. Will it be possible to install this guide-on on my trailer? If not, can you suggest any alternative?

The CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons with LED Lights for Boat Trailers - 60" Tall - 1 Pair # CE27760 adjusts out 19 inches from the trailer frame. This is the farthest adjustment of any of our kits. The actual length of the bent frame is 21 inches from the middle of the bend to the end of the horizontal tube that connects to your trailer frame. With the 2 inch PVC that covers it, the actual clearance is 19 inches which will from your measurements touch your boat hull unless you were to bend the frames out slightly to give you another inch or two.

Your other option would be to have a welder add a coupler sleeve and extend that steel tubing. There is not an alternative that allows for a longer distance from the frame that I'm aware of.
