I can recommend two options for a new trailer brake controller for your 2019 Ram 1500.

For a standard dash-mount controller the one to beat is the tried-and-true Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. Installation is plug-and-play using wiring harness # 3024-P, as shown in the linked install video. The P3 has a nice clear display, storable settings for different trailers and it automatically levels vertically which makes for installation flexibility.

But if you want a controller that can be installed more discretely and without putting anything near your kneecaps you might consider Redarc's Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR and matching harness # 331-TPH-020. The Tow Pro splits out the control knob from the actual circuitry which means the main controller box can be remotely mounted well out of your way while the small control knob can be installed on your dash or center console where it is handy but makes less impact on your cab interior.
