The best looking trailer hitch that fits your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek is the EcoHitch, part # 306-X7365. The cross tube is concealed behind the rear bumper and the receiver tube is visible underneath. Additionally, the receiver tube can be removed when you're not using it so nothing is visible at all. With that being said this might be a little fancier than what you're looking for. And by "fancier" I mean expensive.
The next best looking option is the Curt, part # C13382. It still has the hidden crosstube like the EcoHitch but the receiver tube isn't removable. So you're always going to see the receiver underneath the bumper but you won't see anything else. I've attached a picture of how it looks once installed as well as a video of the installation for you. It's also much more economical than the EcoHitch is.
It sounds like you already have a ball mount. You might want to check out the article I linked on ball mounts so you can determine if the one you have has the correct rise or drop you'll need.
Finally, you need wiring to power the trailer's lights. You said it's small so I assume you just need a 4-way connector. I recommend the Hopkins, part # HM11143865, for your Crosstrek. I like the Hopkins because the converter mounts using two screws instead of just one. You don't want the converter box moving around at all while you're driving. It also has the highest amp capacity of the harnesses that fit your Subaru.
