Connecting the Power Wire for a Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2011 Toyota Venza
Question:
Can this harness be powered by taping into the auxiliary plug in the back of the vehicle. It is rated for up to 20 watts.

The power wire on the Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harness, # 118482, for the 2011 Toyota Venza, has only been tested and approved for attachment to the vehicle battery. The wiring harness is rated for the following:
Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (2.1 amps)
Max. tail lights: (5.6 amps)
