Replaced Control Module on Coach Steps but Still No Function
Question:
Received new control module today exact same as original. I have power on 4 prong plug no power on 2 prong plug. Any ideal? How do you test the magnetic door switch?

Can you please confirm the part number on your original control module? They all look very similar but there are internal differences that could affect functionality so I would need to confirm this first. If you in fact have the correct control module then the two prong plug you are referring is the power and ground wires for the motor. These can be tricky to check as the continuity will alternate between wires depending on which direction the step is moving. I recommend removing the motor and using a 12 volt power source to make sure it is operating correctly.
The other possible issue as you mentioned is the magnetic door switch. In order to test this you will need to probe the brown wire with a multimeter as you are opening and closing the door. If you get power here then the switch may be your issue but one would need to know the part number on your original control module in order to confirm a replacement. Also, does the amber light illuminate when the steps are activated?
