How Much Power Does Edge Programmer Give 2017 Chevy Silverado with 4.3 Liter V6
Question:
So is the 20 hp and ft torque just based off from the tuner preloaded tunes, or would I have to make modifications in order to achieve that hp and if so would adding the modifications be added to the 20 hp?

The Edge EvoHT2 programmer part # EP26040 that you referenced will give you up to an additional 20 horsepower and 24 ft lbs of torque. It also will help give you a couple extra miles per gallon as well so I'd say it's worth it. To maximize the power gains a cold air intake would be great but we don't have one for your truck's engine size. An air filter like the part # AR851-135 though will help allow the engine to breathe a little easier and would increase power. I attached a link to a page that has all the cat-back systems we offer too. You'll want to select the cab style and bed length you have and you'd see the fits for your truck.
