The Sterling, part # RM-576, is a good tow bar so you definitely want to keep it. There aren't any Roadmaster base plate kits that fit the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee at this time so I recommend using the Blue Ox kit, part # BX1128, with the adapers # BX88151. The base plates are virtually hidden with the arms taken off. Take a look at the picture I attached.

The Sterling originally included wiring to connect the motorhome to the Jeep as well as a 6-way connector to install on the front of the Jeep. If you still have all of that use part # RM-152 for the Jeep's lights and re-use what you still have. If you don't have them then wiring kit # RM-15267 replaces it all and has the rest of the wiring for the Jeep. If you need just the 6-way connector it's part # RM-910030-7. In addition to that I recommend adding a charge line kit to maintain the Jeep's battery using part # RM-156-25. Wire it to the center pin on the 6-way.

If you already have a braking system to move from the old Jeep then you may be able to use some of the parts again. Let me know what system you had. If you want to start from scratch on the new one I recommend a permanent install system. We like the Stay-IN-Play DUO, part # SM99251, because it's easier to install than the others and it's reliable. It uses the RV's brake lights to engage the Jeep's brakes and senses the inertia to simulate the intensity in which it applies them.

If your motorhome has air brakes instead of hydraulic brakes use the Air Force One braking system, part # SM99243, instead of the DUO. It doesn't use the brake lights to trigger the Jeep's brakes which can cause false braking with air brakes.

Finally, you likely are going to need a high-low adapter to keep the tow bar level. You need to measure to determine the rise or drop you need between the motorhome and Jeep. I've linked an article to help you measure, as well as our selection of high-lows once you know what you need.

I've also linked a number of videos on the products I recommended, and some other articles on flat towing you might find helpful.
