How to Determine if B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch Will Allow 90 Degree Turn in 2019 Ford F-350
Question:
Will the referenced hitch allow for a 90 degree turn in a 2019 Ford F 350 drw? And, is this the hitch you would recommend. I thought about the Anderson and the Pullrite light weigh hitches, but, afraid on sharp turns and uneven terrain that the RV could layover onto my trucks bed rails.

In order to determine if the B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3300 will allow your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty to make a 90 degree turn you are going to need to take some measurements and use the following formula:
A - B = Clearance
A = Distance from center of 5th-wheel hitch jaw to truck cab in inches
B = Width of trailer in inches divided by 2
As you can see in the accompanying cut out from the instruction manual of the B&W Companion # BWRVK3300, this 5th wheel hitch can be either 1" in front of your F-350's axle or 3" in front of the axle; keep in mind that "front is defined as the position closest to the cab.
