Expert Reply:
The 1-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4" Long # e46SR will work well on your Forest River Toy Hauler with Tandem Axles. The difference between the single spring and the stacked leaves is the stacked leaves will have a thickness at the axle that will be different. The single leaf will not have the height of the stack you currently have so your U-bolts where the axle connect will be tightened further. This will also slightly lower the ride of your trailer with the axle sitting closer to the frame because of the reduced height of the spring at the center. Your trailer will ride between 1 inch to 1-3/4 inches lower. The springs will work very well for you if you are comfortable with that difference in ride height or if you want to flip the axles for increased height using the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00.
