Can 3-Leaf 4,000 lb Leaf Springs Replace 4-Leaf Springs

Question:

I have an RV with 3500 lb axles with double eye leaf springs. These are 4 leaf springs. I want to upgrade to 4000 lb springs but you only show 3 leaf springs in the length I need. Would there be any performance issues with going to a heavier rated 4000 lb 3 leaf spring in place of a 3500 lb 4 leaf?

There will be no performance issues whatsoever going from leaf springs with 4 leaves to leaf springs with 3 leaves. So long as you have the correct length, the springs are going to work superbly. The 3-leaf, 4,000 lb leaf springs we have measure 25-1/4" from center of spring eye to center of spring eye:

- 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4" Long # e57SR
