Question:
What could cause grease to be on front tire of motorhome? Brakes were just done by mechanics

When packing a hub's bearings with grease prior to reinstalling it on the spindles (which would be perfectly normal after servicing the brakes) it is possible to over-fill the hub with too much grease. Its human nature: if some grease is good (it sure is) then more "must be better". More often than not this accidental over-filling of the hubs with too much grease occurs with the do-it-yourselfer but it can happen to the best of us, even a pro.
When a hub is over-filled with bearing grease it can cause enough pressure to blow out the rubber lip of the grease seal that is fitted to the inside-facing bore of the hub. Once warmed, that grease will thin out slightly and it will find a way out, sometimes onto your brakes (which means replacing the pads or shoes) or sometimes into the drum itself.
It is possible that the grease you noted came from another source but since you mentioned just having had your brakes replaced it seems more probable that the crew put a touch too much grease in your hubs and this took out the grease seal.
You could remove a wheel/hub to check this yourself but it is probably best to take the coach back to the shop that did the brake work for you. Since the brakes could have been contaminated this will give you the opportunity to have things checked out to ensure your safety on the road.
