Can an Aftermarket Trailer Hitch be Installed on a 2017 Toyota Tundra with Factory Trailer Hitch
Question:
Does this 2inch receiver fit the 2017 Tundra SR5 4x4 TRD? I saw a note that it doesnt work if there is a factory installed hitch.

I do have an option for you however, all of the aftermarket trailer hitches we offer for your 2017 Toyota Tundra except one will not work if there is a factory trailer hitch already installed. The next question people usually ask is if they were to remove the factory trailer hitch could they then install an aftermarket trailer hitch. Unfortunately, this cannot be done either as the factory trailer hitch is part of the support for the rear bumper.
The only and I mean only option we have that will allow you to install a trailer hitch on your Tundra is the TorkLift SuperHitch Hero Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLT1300H which I am sure you noticed might be a bit more heavy duty than what you were looking for.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Aside from towing if there is something you want to use with the hitch please let me know and I will see if we have any other options.
