For your 2016 Keystone Cougar X-Lite 25RDB, I recommend using the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder part # LA-401BA. The Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder is made of aluminum which means it is both lightweight/rustproof, is black in color which will complement your trailer's exterior, and has a customizable length.
In regards to installation, you have several different choices because of its universal fit. It can be installed on the rear or side. There is not a specific location that the ladder must be installed. The only requirement is that the screws are fastened to the RV's blocking or subframe on the roof.
