Larger Trailer Tire Size Recommendation for Replacing 13 inch Wheel Size

Question:

Hello: I currently own a Coachmen Clipper 17FQ travel trailer with 13-inch Load Bearing D tires and rims. Im considering flipping the axle to allow more ground clearance and to also allow a larger wheel and tire to be installed. What would be a good RV wheel and tire combination in either a 14-inch Load Bearing E or 15-inch Load Bearing E or F that I could install on my trailer if I do flip the axle? Thank you for your time and assistance!

The next size up from a 13 inch trailer tire and wheel will be to go with a 14 inch size ST205/75R14. The highest Load Range we have in that size would be Load Range D with a capacity of 2,200 lb like the Karrier wheel and tire # AM32161. This would be around 500 lbs more capacity per tire than the size you currently have so it should work really good. It also will a little over 2 inches taller in diameter than what you currently have as well.
