Question:
Comes standard with 1.25inch standard. Is this correct? How can I get to a 2in hitch receiver?

It sounds like you are looking into getting a new 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon. Based on my research and as you mentioned in your question, Subaru only offers 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers for this vehicle. With that in mind the best way to add a 2 inch hitch would be to go with the model Outback Wagon that doesn't come equipped with the factory hitch and add an aftermarket unit instead, which are indeed available in 2 inch models for the vehicle. Otherwise you can simply remove the factory hitch if you already have it and replace it with the aftermarket unit.
For your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75673. This is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide you with the 2 inch receiver you're wanting. In addition to the larger receiver size that is compatible with many more hitch-mounted accessories, the Draw-Tite hitch also won't have the same shallow hitch-pin hole issues that the factory Subaru hitches are known for. This shallow pin hole makes fitting accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers much more difficult.
I have attached an installation video for the Draw-Tite Hitch on the 2018 Outback Wagon that you can use for reference.
