Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Kia Soul for Carrying Bike Rack

Im looking for a hitch for my 2016 kia sould for use with a bike rack. I see you,have 2 options, the Draw Tite one and the Curt one. Im just curious what the differences are between them. The curt is quite a bit different looking and an additional $20 more so im wondering if its any better or more secure or if its just simply a differnt design. Thanks.

For carrying a bike rack the best hitch for your 2016 Kia Soul is the Draw Tite hitch part # 24915. The advantage the Draw Tite has over the Curt is that it does not require a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack like the # C11419 has. The hitches are made by different companies which is why they are designed differently like you noticed. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out on 2016 Soul like yours.

I really like the Saris Freedom Superclamp part # SA4025F. This is a lightweight platform rack (which is normally an unheard of combo). That means it'll be easy to install and remove from your vehicle since it's light, but also it'll be very easy to load bikes on since it's a platform rack.

This rack also only touches bikes at the tire so it protects any damage to delicate frame materials or finishes.
