Replacement 4-Way Recommendation for Trailer with Non-Standard 6-Way Flat

Question:

Hi, Hi guys, I misplaced the connector from my Motorcycle tent trailer to my car. The car has a 4 way flat and the trailer 6 prong flat. The cable with 6 holes for prongs snapped into place to fit the existing 6 prong on the trailer. I think maybe the 6 prong was jerry rigged to adapt to the Hopkins 4 flat as I had it installed at a Podunk place in Utah 2 years ago on a Sunday morning after one of the metal prongs broke on my existing connector. Unable to locate any connectors that fit the above description on Hopkins website which s why I think it was jerry rigged. Will I need to have a totally new system installed to match with my existing auto 4 way flat? Please help!!!

The 6- pin connector you sent in a picture of is not a standard trailer wiring connector so it sounds like an alternative solution was provided by the shop you went to. Easiest solution will be to cut that off and install a standard 4-way to match the vehicle. For that we have the part # HM48110 that would easily wire to your current trailer wiring.
