How to Adjust Size of Rock Tamers Adjustable Mud Flap System ERT00108

Question:

My Toyota Tundra sits pretty low when loaded up with gear and boat. I have air shocks, but still am concerned about clearance of the Rock Tamers. Do you know how they work with Tundras?

The beauty of the Rock Tamers Adjustable Mud Flap System # ERT00108 is that you can decide exactly how much ground clearance you want from them by trimming them.

The universal-fit rubber flaps have molded-in lines to simplify cutting them to the preferred size as well as an included punch tool for making the holes to attach them to the installation clamps. So no matter what your truck's height stance is you can get a good fit so that the Rock Tamers can protect your trailer or towed vehicle.

You will want to make sure that you ball mount or tow bar provides at least 1-inch of space for mounting the center hub assembly that suspends the flaps. This space requirement is illustrated in the photo I linked for you. You can also refer to the linked installation video.
