Is the Pink 30 Amp Box Fuse in T-Connector Kit 85715/118491 Needed for a 2012 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
I have a 2012 Honda Ridgeline that we bought the Reese T-connector kit for. Just curious we found where the relay block goes thanks to prior question but still not sure if we need the pink 30 amp fuse included in the kit? Or if that was for a different accessory or was that included for the HOnda Pilot its seems the kit we purchased can be used for either Vehicle. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha version of the Reese harness 85715 is # 118491 for the 2012 Honda Ridgeline. Reese and Tekonsha are the same company. You may or may not need all of the included fuses and relays that come with either of these kits. The larger "box" fuse does not install on the Ridgeline. I have linked the instructions for harness # 118491. You can see that in the instructions that box fuse is only used on the Pilot.
