Adding a Four Step Pull Out to a 2018 Chaparral Coachmen Lite 34

My husband has a prosthetic leg and our steps are too steep, can we replace the 3 steps with 4 steps and still fold up under the RV? We have a 2018 Chaparral Coachman Lite 34 ft 5th wheel Thank you!

Yes, you can replace the three step option you have now with a four step option so long as the four step option has adequate clearance from the ground to the mounting point and adequate clearance between the mounting brackets. In order to find the correct replacement for you we would need to know the distance between the mounting brackets on your 2018 Chaparral Coachmen Lite 34 in addition to the distance from the ground to the mounting point.
For example, the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step part # LC432698 works with mounting brackets that are spaced 28" apart and distance from the ground to the mounting point of no less than 30-3/4". There are dimensions listed on the product page which should aid in your measuring.
