Recommended Camera System for 2018 Prime Time Avenger Travel Trailer
Question:
I recently purchased a 2018 Prime Time Avenger 30QBS that is has a mount and is prewired for this camera. It is an aluminum sided camper. Will this affect the quality of the signal between the monitor and the camera? I am looking for something that I can not only use for backing up the camper, but also use while I am driving down the road to monitor what is behind me. Please let me know. Thank you.

The Furrion RV Observation Camera System w/ Monitor and Bracket - Wireless - 4.3" Screen # FOS43TASF is the system your 2018 Prime Time Avenger 30QBS is designed to use. It can absolutely be used as an observation system instead of simply a backup camera when wired to the running light circuit instead of the reverse light circuit. Because it is a wireless system, there can be transmission issues and aluminum can be an interference but we haven't heard of any unresolvable issues with this system.
Your only other option is to use a wired system like the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-770613-213. This system will ensure you won't have issues with transmission.
