Does the Tekonsha Primus Trailer Brake Controller Use a Pendulum System to Sense Braking

Can you tell me if this is a pendulum system as is the voyager model I have fitted. Thanks

The Tekonsha PRIMUS IQ Electronic Brake Controller, # TK90160, does not have a pendulum system. Instead it uses the same technology present in the popular Prodigy brake controllers. Instead of a pendulum, it uses an accelerometer-type motion sensing system. The benefit is that steep inclines no longer affect braking like what you might experience with a pendulum system. There is also a larger range of angles it can be mounted at.
