Troubleshooting Bad Converter Box on Trailer Wiring Harness for 2011 Ford Escape
Question:
Hello 2011 Ford Escape. I have power going to converter box with all lights. The left turn does not work going out of box. It stays a steady light no flashing. No issues with car lights at all. Did replace the ground wire and cleaned it up on frame of car. I assume I need a new converter box? If so it the Curt the best one.

It does sound like the converter box on your existing wiring harness has gone bad. We do not have replacement converter boxes available, so your best option will be to replace the harness altogether.
For your 2011 Ford Escape, I actually recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118551. This will install just like your existing harness, by plugging into factory ports behind the driver and passenger side tail lights and then running the hot lead up to the Escape's battery. Tekonsha has a great reputation for producing reliable trailer wiring products and we hear of far fewer issues with their harnesses than with those from other manufacturers.
I have attached the written installation instructions that you can also take a look at.
