The benefits of having adding an Air Spring or Rubber Enhancement Springs to the suspension of your vehicle will provide for a more stable and smoother ride. It will also provide additional support, especially when you are hauling heavy loads and decreases vehicle sag thereby increasing wheel traction. Your truck would always benefit from suspension enhancement to prevent the above issues. This will increase the life of your vehicle suspension by absorbing the rough areas on the road and taking some of the stress off of the vehicle. In regards to the picture everything looks balanced, however changes can happen once you start traveling.

We have two types of suspension enhancement available. The first and easiest to install is the Timbren rubber enhancement springs. These install and are built specifically for the vehicle's suspension and weight capacity to provide the right amount of support and cushioning no matter the load. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4 is for 2 and 4 Wheel Drive Models.

The second is the Firestone air springs. The Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs installation is more involved but the support and ride is user adjustable for a quality ride and carrying heavy loads. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2445 works with 2 and 4 Wheel Drive Models.

Out of the two different kinds of kits I recommend the Air-Spring Kits. I recommend the Air-Springs because the advantages are a variable load-carrying capability, the spring strength is adjustable and they have user-friendly height control.

You can view some additional information on both styles at the links provided, as well as typical installation videos for both brands.
