Comparing Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 and Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on 2018 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2018 Toyota Tundra and I'm looking for air bags. The two brands I keep running into are the firestone ride-rite and air lift loadlifter. I see there are fits for my truck from both of these. what is the difference between the two and which would you recommend?

There are a number of differences between the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2445 and Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88299, starting with fit. While the Air Lift will fit all models of the 2018 Toyota Tundra, the Firestone is only a fit for Tundra's with the TRD package (Toyota Racing Development).

The biggest difference, and why I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL88299, are that these springs come with internal jounce springs while the Ride Rite are air bags only. The jounce springs on the Air Lift will engage to provide more support than a system without them.

The LoadLifter 5000 come with a lifetime warranty and are made in the USA. I have added links to video reviews of this system for you to take a look at as well.

I also strongly recommend installing the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000 with the helper springs because has a wireless remote control which allows you to adjust the air pressure in each bag from the comfort of your truck's cab.

This system also has the ability to maintain a pre-set air pressure if you find that perfect setting that gets your truck level. I have also added a link to a video review of the compressor for you to check out.
