Troubleshooting Atwood Landing Gear Leg That Doesnt Move

The only problem i have with these is single motor. Mine are independently operated. Witch are wonderful on uneven pads

It sounds like the screw itself is damaged if the motor and gears are turning but the leg isn't moving.
Atwood no longer is in the 5th wheel landing gear business so I recommend replacing your landing gear completely. The reason you would need to change out your whole set is because both legs need to move at the same ratio so that your trailer raises and lowers evenly on both sides. Since replacement parts are already becoming scarce for Atwood landing gear it would be better in the long run to change out your landing gear.
Check the weld stop locations on your current landing gear. They should be spaced out about 15-1/2" in between them. If this is the case then I recommend using our landing gear # RVLG-8000 which has an 8,000 lb weight capacity. This can be operated manually with the crank # RVLG-HDL or by motor with part # LC142178. Your current motor may work with this set though.
