I spoke to my contact at SportRack(Thule) about installing the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack part # SR1003 on your 2004 Hyundai Accent 3-door. They informed me that the mounting feet on the front crossbar will need to be placed in the 19-3/4 position and the mounting feet on the rear crossbar will need to be placed in the 13-3/4 position. The front crossbar will then need to be placed 24" forward of the point where the edge of the door meets the cab and the rear crossbar will need to be placed 24" back from the front crossbar.

In regards to installing the Short-Roof Adapter for SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Racks part # SR1116, you will first need to remove the end caps and mounting feet on one side of the vehicle, then loosen the mounting screws on the adapters. Once this is done you can then slide the adapters onto the crossbars, secure the mounting screws, and then place the end caps and mounting feet back on. The last step would be to secure the clamp plate.

I have attached the install instructions for both the roof rack and adapter for you as well.
