If my landing gear leg has stops that are welding in a different position than the ones I order is it possible for me to grind off the stop and weld in the position I need

There are two measurements you will need to take in order to find the correct replacement landing gear legs for your Nu Wa Hitchhiker 5th wheel trailer. These measurements include the overall length of the leg's outer tube and the distance between the two weld stops.

There are two common outer tube measurements which are 29-1/2" long and 32-1/2" long. It sounds like you have 29-1/2" long therefore you can use part # LG-179013 for the lead leg and part # LG-179014 for the follow leg. However, in order to make sure these will be an exact fit for you, you will need to measure the distance between the weld stops on your existing landing gear legs. As long as they measure to be 15-1/2" inside to inside or 17-1/2" outside to outside (see photo) then these legs will work for you.

No, the weld stops on the landing gear legs themselves cannot be moved. What you will want to do is cut the mounting brackets off the trailer and weld the new ones on in the correct position. This will be your only option if you cannot find a set of replacement legs that match your existing brackets.
