Adapter Needed to Tow Bruno Chariot with a 2018 Ford Transit
Question:
Will the Dual Hitch receiver adapter w/8 inch work on Bruno Chariot. Bruno states works best with cars, and some small SUVs. Current vehicle we have is 2018 Ford Transit w/Explorer conversion. I think the hitch is too tall from ground to hitch. Your thoughts on what might work.

Dual hitch receivers and adapters like parts # RM-077-8 and # RM-048-8 are meant to be used for flat towing only but I do have a solution for you.
The Gen-Y hitches basically give you additional receivers at varying heights and they can be used for towing and accessories. For your application we have the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-314. This fits a 2" trailer hitch and offers 7-1/2" of drop/rise. It is rated for 10K towing and 1.5K tongue weight although you will be limited by your current trailer hitch or your 2018 Ford Transit depending on which is lower.
