To add a wiring harness to your 1992 Chevy Silverado for your boat trailer you need to first add a 4-flat, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118315; I've attached a link showing this harness being installed on a similar truck for you to check out.
From there you need an adapter, the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036 to give you a 5-flat on your Silverado.
