Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness For 1992 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup Truck
Question:
I am working on a 1992 chevyk1500 and im adding a 60inch light bar that mounts under tailgate right above bumper and it plugs into factory harness to operate and that leaves no where to plug original tail lights or plug in for pulling trailor towing this is a 4 flat factory.do you have a adapter that has 2 connectors leaving where I would splice into factory instead of making 2 splices.Im just trying to make it look neater for my customer.THANK YOU

To add an additional 4-way connector on the 1992 Chevrolet 1500, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part # 118315.
This plugs into the connection points along the frame rail under the truck on the driver side. There is no cutting or splicing into the truck wiring to install this.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
