Can a 175/80-R13 Tire Be Used in Place of a 175/80-D13 Tire on a Trailer

i have st 175 80 d 13 on a boat trailer, is it ok to run a 175 r 13 tire on that trailer 17 ft boat with 45hp motor

Yes, you can run a 175/80-R13 tire on a trailer that came with a 175/80-D13 tire. The only difference between the two is that "R" stands for radial ply and "D" stands for diagonal.
