Where to Install a Brake Controller on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I see everyone installing a trailer brake at knee level but can you do this with a 2014 Jeep grand cherokee with knee airbags?

Yes, you can install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 at knee level on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you take a look at the 2:20 mark in the attached video, you can see where we choose to install the controller on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee which was just below the dash panel that contains the airbag. We tend to install brake controllers in this general area as it will be easy to access in case of emergency. However, you can install the controller anywhere you see fit so long as the angle is inline with the manufacturers specifications.
